First round action in the Cheshire Cup dominated Sunday’s fixture list, with Fender FC producing the day’s biggest scoreline. They defeated Ridgewood 12-0, with Ben Morris, Ben Kearney, and Ben Glover all scoring hat-tricks, while Leighton Clarke, Jay Hanson, and Jamie Edwards completed the scoring.

Eleven-time winners Queens Park narrowly beat Oxton Celtic 2-1 with goals from Max Herbert and James Fee, while 2023-24 winners Rock Ferry also advanced, defeating Audlem FC 8-1 away from home. Josh Hulmston scored a hat-trick, with Adam Smith, Josh Dunroe, Liam Driscoll, Liam Gordon, and Jayden Jones adding the rest.
Premier Division side Beechwood had too much for Championship side Higher Bebington Kelma; Morgan Woods and Max Langton were both on target for Beechwood in a 2-0 win.

Corsair beat Finnigans 4-0 with doubles from Jordan Dilworth and John Skipsey. Glenavon Athletic secured a 6-1 win over Bollington United as Kieran France scored twice, alongside goals from Mike Roberts, Danny Rowland, Ben Stevenson, and Josh Gann
A Josh Ross double helped Lancelyn Glenavon past Timperley United 2-1, while Heather Brow knocked out league rivals Neston Nomads, winning 2-1 with Ashley Power and Ellis Platt scoring the all-important goals.

Carl Hamm scored twice as Seamus O’Donnel beat Parkgate St Germain 2-0, and Wellington won 3-2 against Rig Move thanks to Dan O’Halouran, Luke Raith, and Gabe Cooper. Billy Nixon and Daniel Woodcock netted Rig Moves consolation goals. Despite goals from Tyler Grattan, Grant Reay, and Mike Redgrift. AFC Tima fell to a 6-3 defeat against Nantwich Pirates.

Several ties required penalties after finishing level. Cheshire Cheese progressed against Esskay United after a 1-1 draw, with Cam Nuttall on target before they held their nerve in the shootout. The Dell also advanced on penalties, beating AFC Stockport Villa 4-3 following a 3-3 draw in normal time, where Darrel Hellon, Sonny Croft, and Tom Williams scored for the visitors.
There was shootout disappointment for AFC Shaftes, who drew 2-2 with Adswood despite a Sam Allen brace, and AFC Raeburn (pictured), who went out to Trident after a 3-3 draw featuring a Craig Mills double and a Tyler Sutton goal. Upton Town also fell at the penalty stage, losing 3-1 to Runcorn Sports after a 3-3 draw, despite two goals from Josh Whelan and one from Liam Healy.
Hooton VH lost 4-1 at AFC Carnforth and Woodchurch Hotel fell 6-2 at home to a strong Queens Bredbury, as did Heswall FC, who suffered a 3-0 defeat against Shore Villa.

In the Nuclear Competitions Birkenhead Sunday League in association with Macron Sports, only one game in the Championship saw Woodchurch Rovers secure a convincing 6-1 victory over Wirral Hundred, Hayden Gardner led the way with a brace while Dan Kendall, Jamie Menahga, Will Evans and Joe Jones all netting, as Max Ferguson scored Wirral Hundreds consolation goal.
League One action saw Upton Grange defeat Lottie Dod in a 4-3 thriller, with Harry Bough, Mark Cooper, Owen Hollywood, and Finn Cubbins on target for Grange.

In League Two, leaders Saughall beat AFC Rangers 5-1. Andy Noonan scored twice, with James Wharton, Jay McLaughlin, and Ciaran Atkinson completing the scoring. West Kirby Wasps stay second after beating Sutton Rangers 2-1 through Harry White and Nathan Travis.

A Luke Burns hat-trick helped New Ferry Rangers to a 5-0 win over Whistle, while New Brighton Rakers won the local derby 4-3 against New Brighton Tower. Tim Wright, Jason Stephens, Josh Walters and Steve Kennedy all netted for Rakers while Abu Hassan (2) and Andy Simms (1) replied for Towers.

MSC Eastham concluded the league action with a 6-1 victory over Lighthouse, highlighted by a Joe Walker double and efforts from Corey Jenkins, Jack Roberts, Cameron Kneen and Jack Whitby.
